I think this is a good thing for us to focus on especially as new writers. It could be easy to get off track and make the wrong decisions while chasing money.

I think paying attention to stats can be helpful if we don't let them overwhelm us. If we don't get addicted to them and just use them to track what is working in our writing. But the most important part is still to enjoy it and write something valuable and/or enjoyable.
