This is so true. It's surprising how many managers and stakeholders will try to compromise to get both things done in the same time or not work with each other to figure out true priorities.

I was in a situation where three different stakeholders wanted their project done first and it had to keep going up the company until the president of the company who had to pick the highest priority for them.
