This is something I see a lot of junior devs overlook. I see them start trying to do the things they see mids and seniors doing while they still need to work on their own knowledge of a project and code. They think its the other tasks and going beyond the code that is going to help them at this level because it is what they see more senior people doing.

They want to jump to helping others, leading parts of the projects and more complex features when they still don't understand the concepts of what mids and seniors use to perform these other tasks. They don't see the steps we took to get to higher levels.
